This series of Living Skull Planters were shaped from a large ash tree from the artists property which once towered over the studio lawn.. The American ash is a tough hardwood which is incredibly heavy. Each skull planter has been stained and varnished with a proprietary mix that will keep it from cracking and rotting in the elements.
